Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education helpful.
• One year of work experience in a medical office preferred; customer service essential.
• Medical terminology knowledge is helpful; BLS may be required per location.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify demographics.
• Create, scan, and route documents or electronic forms.
• Inform patients about documents and capture signatures as needed.
• Establish and assign financial responsibility and assist with arrangements.
• Collect co-payments, pre-payments, and payments on accounts.
• Coordinate scheduling and pre-authorizations; check patients in/out.
