Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years pastry experience in high-volume kitchens, with a background in upscale dining. Education includes a high school diploma or culinary training; licenses such as county food handler and ServeSafe are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Culinary school or apprenticeship preferred for pastry focus.
• Hotel/large-volume pastry experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Produce outlet bakery items on time and to specifications.
• Take daily inventory and prepare production requisitions.
• Date, label, and store all items properly; adhere to sanitation rules.
• Rotate stock to ensure freshness and quality.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance and demeanor and follow safety policies.

Education

Graduate of Apprenticeship or accredited Culinary School
