Job summary

The Arizona Biltmore, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks a PM Pastry Cook I to craft pastries for outlets, assist with banquets, and maintain quality production in a high-volume resort kitchen. You will produce items to meet quality standards and deadlines.

Ideal candidates have at least three years pastry experience, hotel experience preferred, and a high school diploma; apprenticeship or accredited culinary school is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an Apprenticeship or accredited Culinary School, preferred.
• At least three years pastry experience in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Produce outlet items on time and to specs.
• Take daily inventory and requisition for days production.
• Date and label all items going into freezer and walk-in; keep areas clean.
• Rotate oldest stock out first; check freshness with chef.
• Follow resort safety and sanitation policies at all times.
• Maintain a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance; wear proper uniform.
• Know and act on emergency procedures to protect guests and associates.
