Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Howard Lake, MN is seeking a PRN Cook to join our dietary team at the 32-bed nursing facility. You will prepare and portion food for residents, staff and guests, follow menus and HACCP guidelines, and help maintain sanitation and safety throughout the kitchen.

Weekday and weekend shifts are available with an additional $1.25/hour for weekend hours, and you can pick up shifts that fit your schedule. A high school diploma and basic math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending upon location.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles baked goods, cooks, seasons and portions food for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Adheres to menu and dietary requirements and HACCP guidelines.
• Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment and machinery; ensures sanitation and cleanliness.
