You will follow physician orders, observe the Six Rights, and utilize our eMAR system to maintain safe medication administration.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician certification in good standing or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities are essential.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and use organizational skills to support residents.

Responsibilities

• Follow the resident MAR to dispense medications per physician orders.
• Adhere to the Six Rights of medication administration and internal policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on resident care and med administration.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
• Model the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
