Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery for residents in a compassionate setting. You will follow physician orders, adhere to the Six Rights, and use the eMAR system while coordinating with clinical leadership to ensure quality care.

This role emphasizes direct resident care, supervision of other team members on shift, and living the Bickford Mission in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician certification or 1+ year of senior care experience.
• Approved Medication Manager Certificate from the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per orders.
• Follow Six Rights of medication administration and policies.
• Understand and utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission on shift.
