Bickford Senior Living in Stafford, VA is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care and ensure medications are administered accurately and with dignity. Evening and overnight shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take additional training as required by state.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to utilize Bickford’s eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Adhere to the Six Rights of medication administration and internal policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on medication and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
• Model the Bickford Mission and lead by example during shifts.
