Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support residents in daily medication administration, ensuring safety and dignity. You will follow physician orders, use the eMAR system, and collaborate with clinical leaders to address questions.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician certification or 1+ year senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to learn and use the eMAR system.
• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Adhere to the Six rights of medication administration and internal policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed staff as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission 'Whatever it Takes' on shift.
