Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support residents by accurately administering daily medications and upholding dignity and quality of life. You will work within the branch to ensure safe medication practices and compassionate care.

Responsibilities include following physician orders, utilizing the eMAR system, supervising support staff, and embodying the Bickford Mission on every shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or at least one year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on resident care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Model Bickford’s mission on shift to other team members.
