Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support resident care and ensure timely, accurate medication administration in our Woodbridge, VA location. This role emphasizes compassion, dignity, and teamwork across shifts.

Ideal candidates will have a current Medication Technician Certification (or 1+ year senior care experience), CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and time-management skills. Evening and overnight shifts are available with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1 year of senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Time management and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
