Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care by ensuring daily medication needs are met with compassion and dignity. The role involves following physician orders, using the eMAR system, and supervising non-licensed team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification in good standing or 1+ year senior care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and facility policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for guidance on resident care.
