Qualifications

• Active Medication Technician Certification or 1 year of senior-care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to take required state training.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to use or learn Bickford’s eMAR system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as needed.
• Demonstrate Bickford’s Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
