Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Evening Shift (37.5 hours) in New York City. The successful candidate will assist in surgical procedures by preparing equipment and supplies and working collaboratively with the nursing staff. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma, BLS certification, and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. The salary range for this position is between $86,936.43 and $114,327.36 annually, determined by experience, education, and hospital needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrubb on all surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
• Anticipate and gather necessary supplies for procedures.
• Report unexpected events to RN staff promptly.
