Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room to support orthopedic procedures in the evenings. You will act as scrub and circulation assistant, preparing and maintaining OR supplies and equipment, and collaborating with physicians to ensure patient safety and efficiency.

This full-time role, 3:00pm-11:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, requires NBSTSA certification or exam date and completion of an accredited

Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification or exam date prior to start; must obtain within six months of hire
• Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent OR training
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub person and circulation assistant in the OR.
• Assist in care, preparation and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.
