Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room to support orthopedic procedures in the evenings. You will act as scrub and circulation assistant, preparing and maintaining OR supplies and equipment, and collaborating with physicians to ensure patient safety and efficiency.

This full-time role, 3:00pm-11:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, requires NBSTSA certification or exam date and completion of an accredited

Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Evenings

This is a full time position working 3:00pm-11:30pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. Rotating weekend and alternating holiday shifts are required.

PreferredCriteria

• Priorexperience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting

Required Criteria

• Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or if a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment. Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire
• Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as on O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting
• High school diploma or GED

Salary Range:

$39.67-$49.57/Hourly
