Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes evaluating performance, guiding skill development, and maintaining documentation.

The ideal candidate is an RN with an MSN or higher nursing degree, strong clinical judgment, and a passion for student success. This position supports evening health assessment theory classes and associated campus activities.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and experiences taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the nursing specialty that aids student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment fostering student growth and professional development.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Maintain accurate attendance, progress, and grade reports; collaborate with faculty and partners.
