Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor will evaluate student performance, supervise clinical activities, and ensure safe, professional nursing practice across multiple modalities.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, is a licensed RN in the applicable state, with a minimum of 3 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Experience with nursing education or teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students, as assigned.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress and grade reports; maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, clinical partners, and campus leadership.
