Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. You will evaluate student performance, guide development of professional behaviors, and collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to ensure alignment with program goals.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, stays current in nursing practice, and demonstrates strong communication.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Experience teaching nursing students in classroom, lab, simulation, or clinical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment and evaluate student performance.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, clinical partners, and other members of the academic community.
