Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and light to moderate repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will work under supervision with opportunities to expand diagnostic skills and advance within the team.

Responsibilities include documenting findings via the TRAIT app, maintaining the service truck, and coordinating with management for approvals and parts. OSHA/DOT compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years in related field or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• DOT background and medical clearance as required by FMCSA.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine and transmission systems.
• Operate and maintain company service vehicle; document work on RO using TRAIT app.
