Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II to perform moderate to high complexity tests on a rotating schedule that includes weekends. You will troubleshoot instruments, support quality control and ensure accurate data entry in the LIS while maintaining compliance with CLIA, HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology or Associates degree in Laboratory Science.
• ASCP Certification preferred.
• One year of full‑time experience or training in high‑complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests with proper QC.
• Provide support in quality control, instrument troubleshooting and training.
• Enter test results into LIS and maintain records for physician review.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and laboratory safety requirements.
