Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II in Dearborn, MI, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with rotational weekends. This role involves performing high-complexity tests and applying independent judgment in qualified areas.

The successful candidate will ensure quality control, document test results, troubleshoot instruments, and adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety requirements while supporting department goals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology, or an allied degree.
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to perform high-complexity testing with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report tests with QC and SOP adherence.
• Troubleshoot instruments and assist with method validation.
• Maintain accurate records of patient results and safety compliance.
• Support supervision in training and process improvements.
