Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Silver Spring, MD, seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for a rotating night schedule (10:45 PM–7:15 AM). The role requires 1 year of high-complexity lab experience, BS in Medical Technology or related field, and strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Shift differentials may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA in Medical Technology or related field and applicable licensure.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently in a clinical lab.
• Proficiency with SOPs, quality control and analytical testing requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform moderate/high complexity testing with independence.
• Troubleshoot instruments and procedures; support quality control and process improvement.
• Enter results into LIS and report for physician review.
• Maintain safe, clean lab spaces and adhere to CLIA/HIPAA/OSHA rules.
• Assist with training of staff and participate in inspections or audits.
