Job summary

Merrimack Valley YMCA is seeking a part-time Membership Services Representative to deliver friendly service at the Welcome Center evenings (Mon, Wed, Fri 6-10 pm) with potential weekend shifts. You will promote memberships, assist program participants, and maintain a welcoming, efficient front desk environment.

Responsibilities include handling cash, resolving member concerns, and collaborating with other departments while following YMCA policies.

Qualifications

: Requires strong customer service orientation and ability to handle front desk operations.
: Cash handling experience and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse members and guests.
: Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
: Basic math, computer skills, and comfort with standard business software.

Responsibilities

Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants at the Welcome Center and telephone inquiries.
Promotes memberships and YMCA programs to engage and retain members.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of front desk and lobby area.
Handles cash, balances cash drawer, and makes change.
Resolves member concerns and informs supervisor of unresolved issues.
Works on assigned projects to improve member experience and branch operations.
Adheres to YMCA policies and procedures and collaborates with other departments.
