Job summary

Peet's Coffee is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support green blending, roasting, packaging, and distribution operations. The role includes preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and collaboration with the Engineering Supervisor and Operations teams.

The position requires 1+ year(s) of related experience, a Minnesota electrical certification, and the ability to read schematics. Expect a 2pm–10:30pm shift with overtime and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience in the technician field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minnesota Electrical Unlicensed Individual certification or higher.
• Basic electrical circuits knowledge.
• Welding and fabricating experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Able to navigate production equipment and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations by understanding the functionality and operation of all machinery.
• Monitor equipment and processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on roasting and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues on production equipment.
• Maintain equipment in safe, efficient operating condition with high uptime.
• Complete scheduled maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Aid engineering with new equipment installations and modifications.
• Respond to unplanned downtime to minimize disruptions.
