Job summary

Peet's Coffee is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support green blending, roasting, packaging, and distribution operations on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM). You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and drive uptime and safety across manufacturing lines.

Required: 1+ year technician experience, Minnesota Electrical Unlicensed certification (or higher), basic electrical knowledge, welding, and fabrication experience, plus SCADA familiarity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience in the technician field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minnesota Electrical Unlicensed Individual certification (or greater).
• Basic electrical circuits knowledge.
• Welding and fabricating experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Comfortable operating and understanding production equipment.
• Able to navigate SCADA systems, such as Scolari for roasting and packaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations by understanding the functionality and operation of all machinery.
• Monitor equipment and processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all roasting and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues on production equipment.
• Maintain equipment in safe, efficient operating condition, targeting 90%+ uptime.
• Complete scheduled maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Communicate effectively with Engineering Supervisor and Operations teams.
• Adhere to Peet's policies, procedures, and safety programs.
