Peet’s Coffee, Inc. is hiring a Packaging Technician (Machine Operator) to operate grinding and packaging equipment on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12:00am) in Minnesota. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork with daily quality checks and production records.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $20–$22 plus potential bonuses. Strong attention to detail and ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, are required to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 1 year of production experience as a machine technician or machine operator.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
• Ability to uphold and follow safety, food safety, and production quality standards.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding and/or packaging equipment to process coffee according to the daily production schedule.
• Follow all workplace safety, food safety, and quality standards, including GMPs and standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality checks, complete required production and quality records, and ensure product meets specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance and communicate safety, quality, or production issues to leadership; report equipment issues to Maintenance/Engineering Support productivity and efficiency while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Assist with training and guiding team members and temporary workers at the workstation as needed.
