Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a Production Technician to operate roasting, grinding, or packaging equipment and to uphold quality and safety standards in a high-volume facility in Minnesota. The role requires attention to detail, collaboration, and a commitment to Peet’s core values.

The position offers an 1st shift schedule (7:30 am - 4 pm), with hourly pay between $20 and $22, and opportunities for overtime and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
• Strong math, reading, and writing skills.
• Able to work 8-hour shifts on your feet and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process coffee per production schedule for roasting, grinding, or packaging.
• Ensure safety, food safety, and quality standards are met.
• Record production and quality data and complete required tasks.
• Train and supervise daily Production Team Members and Temporary Workers.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstation and facility.
• Operate one or two packaging lines or roasting/grinding machines as needed.
