Job summary

Peet's Coffee in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across green blending, roasting, packaging, and the distribution warehouse.

This 3rd shift role runs Monday–Friday from 10:00PM-6:30AM with pay between $28-$35/hour. The position emphasizes safety, uptime, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related technician experience.
• Minnesota Electrical Unlicensed certification or higher.
• Basic electrical circuits knowledge.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Comfortable operating production equipment and SCADA systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.
• Good organizational skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment across roasting, packaging, and related areas.
• Monitor machinery for safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Assist with new equipment installations and modifications.
• Respond to downtime to minimize production impact.
• Read basic schematics and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and safety program compliance.
• Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts safely.
