Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Office Associate to provide outstanding customer service to callers, answer incoming calls, and troubleshoot issues. You will support pilot stations and cartage agents, track shipments, and respond to emails.

The role requires 2 years of customer service and logistics experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and flexible schedules where possible.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 2 years customer service and logistics experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
• Proficiency with internet and online tools.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to all callers.
• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries received through email.
• Make outgoing calls to follow-up on shipment status, resolve issues and update customers.
• Track, trace, enter and update shipments.
• Assist and support Pilot stations and cartage agents.
• Master outside customer applications.
• Follow published procedures and work instructions for NCS accounts and bring modifications to management's attention.
• Provide customers with quotes in a timely manner, as well as various routing options.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
