Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support the Hospice Residence Clinical team in Milwaukee. This part-time PM shift runs from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, three evenings a week, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The role supports RN-led care, assists with activities of daily living, and ensures patient comfort and safety. BLS and Nurse Aide certification are required, with strong teamwork and communication essential.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing and feeding.
• Record vital signs and document in EMR.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Manage supplies, clean equipment, and stock nursing area.
• Position and transport patients with proper technique.
