Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.
• Experience not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation).
• Measure and document vital signs, I&O, daily weights; document in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes; orient to room and manage belongings.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Run errands, deliver charts/specimens, maintain nursing area and clean equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning and safe transport; support dietary needs.
