Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support hospice patients in West Allis and surrounding areas. This PRN position involves 1-2 shifts per week, 8am-5pm, with in-home and facility assignments.

The role requires state CNA certification, CPR where required, and reliable transportation. You’ll join a compassionate team dedicated to exceptional patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be state-certified nursing assistant with completion of required training and a passing score on the agency's competency exam.
• CPR certification required for direct patient care in specified states.
• Must be listed on the state aide registry with a clear record and eligible to provide care in homes, nursing facilities, or hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to hospice patients, including assistance with hygiene, repositioning and mobility.
• Support patients in homes or facilities with movement and physical activity while ensuring timely, dignified end-of-life care.
• Monitor comfort levels, respond to needs, and assist with daily living activities maintaining safety and dignity.
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols in home and facility environments.
