Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking a part-time Testing Center proctor to administer certification and assessment exams for potential and enrolled students. The role requires following designated proctor policies, staying current with protocol changes, and providing limited tech troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include scheduling support, customer queries, and maintaining accurate records. Evening hours are required, with flexible availability as testing demands change.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and at least three (3) years experience in an administrative support environment.
• Good technology skills and the ability to assess and troubleshoot system issues remotely and in person.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide certification, assessment, and distance education exam administration per proctor policies.
• Complete high stakes proctor training and stay current with protocol changes.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and contact testing company support when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of assessment services and share with relevant offices.
• Adjust testing procedures based on Disability Services documentation prior to testing.
• Assist with scheduling center activity and respond to customer queries.
• Promote professional conduct and ensure testing centers are organized and well maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
