Job summary

The HUC will help with admissions, transfers, discharges, and record management, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a customer service-related role.
• Experience with typing, computer training or equivalent coursework.

Responsibilities

• Greet and orient patients on admission and transfer.
• Respond to patient call lights and rounds.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Assist patients and families with wayfinding and resource access.
• Assemble and maintain patient records and related documents.
• Support unit clerical tasks and troubleshoot equipment failures.
