Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia UVA Health is seeking a part-time Guest Services Representative to greet patients and visitors, give directions, and share hospital information at a key entry point. The role emphasizes patient-centered service and clear communication.

Hours are Monday–Friday 4:30pm–8:00pm. Requirements include a High School Diploma, 1–2 years of healthcare customer service, and a valid driver’s license; notary welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for those hired after November 2024.
• 1 - 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, required.
• Valid state driver's license at facilities where Valet assistance may be needed, required.
• Notary public preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests and provide directions.
• Oversee lobby traffic and provide general hospital information.
