Johnnies Jazz Bar & Grille in Liberty, MO is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, manage seating and waitlists, and provide initial information about the restaurant and services.

You'll work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth guest experience while maintaining a clean, organized hostess station.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat appearance and engaging, friendly personality.
• Efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Willing to obtain required state certifications as needed.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests and welcome them promptly and courteously.
• Manage seating and reservations; coordinate table assignments.
• Provide menus and answer initial inquiries about the restaurant.
• Escort guests to tables and ensure smooth flow with servers.
• Monitor wait times and communicate updates to guests.
• Collaborate with bussers, cooks, and staff to ensure quality service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and lobby area.
