Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting– Welcome all guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Reservation & Waitlist Management– Accurately manage the waitlist, quote wait times, and record guest information in the reservation system.
• Seating Strategy– Plan and rotate guest seating to optimize service flow and server balance, including large parties using Q39 seating standards.
• Special Requests– Accommodate guest seating preferences whenever possible and communicate needs to servers and management.
• Guest Escort & Introduction– Escort guests to tables, present menus, and provide server introductions.
• Turnover & Cleanliness– Assist with cleaning and resetting tables; maintain a clean and organized host stand and entry area.
• Team Collaboration– Work with the Front of the House team to ensure seamless service, dividing responsibilities as needed.
• Guest Departure– Thank guests and invite them to return, creating craveable and memorable dining experiences.
