Qualifications

• Excellent guest-service and hospitality skills.

• Reads and writes English; able to answer phones and handle reservations.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests and provide menus.
• Answer the telephone professionally and follow reservation procedures.
• Ensure tables are properly set before seating guests.
• Maintain seating chart and rotate stations as needed.
• Follow cash-handling and room-charge procedures.
• Keep host podium and surrounding area clean and organized.
• Familiarize with hotel facilities and locations to answer guest questions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
