Fairfield Inn & Suites Norfolk Airport is seeking a friendly and professional Evening Front Desk Agent to join our team. You will be the first and last point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, check-outs, and questions with a warm, solution-focused approach.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to hospitality standards. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected, and experience with hotel systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience at front desk or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of Marriott systems and procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional and positive attitude.
• Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest accounts using the PMS.
• Answer and direct incoming calls on a multi-line phone system.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests regarding hotel services and local attractions.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally while ensuring satisfaction.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs.
• Maintain accurate records and cash-handling procedures.
• Ensure the front desk and lobby areas remain organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
