Job summary

MOSI seeks a Guest Services & Events Team Member to deliver outstanding guest experiences during daytime operations and evening events. You will sell memberships, admission, and experiences, operate the Virtual Reality Simulator, and support gift shop and Box Office activities.

You will also assist with setup for events, manage ticketing, and help ensure safety and smooth operations across the museum's daily visits, dome shows, and programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills in fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience in customer service, ticketing, retail, or event support preferred.
• Basic computer and POS skills; ability to learn new systems quickly and handle cash transactions.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special event nights.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct guests; sell tickets for daily admission, experiences, and events.
• Promote annual memberships and assist with box office operations.
• Enforce museum policies in a courteous and professional manner.
• Handle payments accurately using cash register or computer systems.
• Assist with evening events, ushering in the Digital Dome and managing event parking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and retail spaces.
