Job summary

The LPN provides nursing care across the health-illness continuum and collaborates with the care team; delegates to UAPs under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. This role serves as a resource for colleagues and may participate in scheduling and inspections.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - National Council of State Boards of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse settings.
• Collaborates with the health care team to plan and coordinate care.
• Delegates nursing tasks to UAPs using Ohio Nurse Practice Act criteria.
• Serves as a resource for other associates and may communicate instructions or inspect work.
