Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide bedside care and collaborate across the health care team. This full-time night shift (6p-6:30a) position supports patients along the health illness continuum with a focus on safety, quality and patient advocacy.

The LPN will document assessments, follow care plans, delegate to UAPs where appropriate, and participate in process improvements while maintaining compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA) required or eligible.
• LPN license for the State of Ohio required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum.
• Document assessments, care plans and interventions.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed staff in alignment with policy and state law.
• Participate in Quality and Process Improvement activities and team huddles.
