Job summary

OhioHealth’s Free-Standing Emergency Department in Obetz is seeking a full-time LPN for the evening shift. You will provide direct nursing care, perform assessments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires an Ohio LPN license, BLS, and completion of the Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course. Work shift is 36 hours per week with a rotating 3-week schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current Ohio LPN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Evening shift and 36 hours per week schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments and document findings.
• Develop and coordinate care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Delegate tasks to UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act and supervise as appropriate.
• Participate in process improvements to enhance quality, safety and efficiency.
• Provide patient and family education and advocate for patients.
