Aquent partners with a leading energy company to power communities and deliver essential services. We are seeking a proactive dispatcher to connect field technicians with critical information and manage urgent and routine work orders.

You will monitor, assign, and track field work, coordinate with call centers and customers, and ensure accurate documentation while supporting efficient daily operations. This role requires SAP experience, familiarity with mobile data dispatching systems, and the

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
1 year experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system.
1 year experience in or supporting gas distribution operations, or 1 year of equivalent dispatching experience.
Ability to work Mon-Fri, 2pm-10pm CT with rotating weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Monitor, dispatch, and balance work orders for field personnel.
Serve as primary contact and facilitate communication between customer service and field teams.
Answer calls and perform call-ahead requests for technicians to optimize routes.
Receive and dispatch non-emergency work orders for daily and emergency operations.
Utilize dispatching solutions to allocate orders effectively.
Oversee and document work orders for technicians and backlogged tasks.
Coordinate daily operations between internal departments and external stakeholders.
Resolve scheduling conflicts among call center, customers, and supervision.
