Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily job assignments and optimize Field Engineering Technicians' scheduling to ensure timely service delivery.

You will act as the main contact for client requests, using dispatch software to align deployments with project needs, location, and availability. The role includes lab sample logistics, equipment check-outs, and thorough documentation for scheduling and purchase orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• 1–3 years of related training/experience with an AEC firm preferred.
• Ability to learn Field Data Collection (FDC) software and input data.
• Strong reading/writing of procedures, manuals, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with client representatives via phone and email for job assignments.
• Document conversations with clients and prepare work orders.
• Coordinate job assignments based on Field Technicians' locations to maximize production and minimize travel time.
• Manage scheduling, deployment, and Time Off usage of all Field Technicians.
• Organizes laboratory sample retrieval and notifies the Laboratory Supervisor of pending rushes.
• Maintains log of Nuclear equipment checked in or out and distributes dosimeter badges.
• Assist the Productivity Project Manager with word orders and technician paperwork issues.
• Obtain and organize all purchase orders prior to scheduling Technicians.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
