Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster is seeking an Evening Dietary Manager to oversee dietary staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality nutritional care for residents. The role focuses on promoting health and well-being through proper nutrition.

The position is Full-Time, 12pm-8pm with on-call duties, reporting to the Administrator, located in Lincoln, NE. Previous healthcare dietary experience is helpful, and training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Evening Dietary Manager to join our team at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster Dietary Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritional care to our residents and help oversee our dietary staff. This position requires a passion for enhancing the dining experience and a commitment to promoting health and well-being through proper nutrition.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting is a plus but not required. On the-job training will be provided.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods, and capability to handle hot and cold food items.

Skills:

• Experience as a Cook and/or Dietary Aide in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
