Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, including food purchasing, preparation, and service.
• Lead, schedule, train, and evaluate dietary staff to maintain a strong, accountable team.
• Ensure compliance with Nebraska and federal regulations for long-term care dining services.
• Maintain clean, organized, and survey-ready kitchen and storage areas.
• Manage dietary documentation within the electronic health record system.
• Partner with the Administrator to monitor budgets, control costs, and manage inventory.
• Attend leadership meetings and contribute to facility-wide initiatives.
• Develop and implement menus that meet clinical requirements while honoring resident preferences.
