Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform CT imaging using GE Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 systems. The role requires 12–24 months radiology experience and ARRT registration, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and patient care.

You will optimize CT scheduling, perform image post-processing, and participate in quality assurance to maintain high diagnostic standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• 12–24 months radiology experience
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program
• 2 hours of stroke education per year

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures using GE Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 systems per procedures and protocols.
• Post-process images with appropriate reconstruction software.
• Address and escalate customer complaints as needed.
• Coordinate inpatient/outpatient scheduling to optimize CT utilization.
• Perform QA tests to ensure image quality and equipment performance.
• Maintain CT equipment and safety, including tube warm-ups and calibrations.
• Document patient information for radiologist review and dictation.
• Prepare images for radiologist interpretation and billings.
