Qualifications

• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and CT procedures.
• Able to perform all routine CT procedures.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• ARRT Registry (RT) is required.
• IDNS License required.
• CPR certification required.
• IV Certification within 3 months of hire.
• CT Registration within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures using GE Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 CT systems according to procedures.
• Performs computerized post-processing of images using reconstruction software.
• Coordinates scheduling of inpatients and outpatients to maximize CT utilization.
• Performs Quality Assurance tests on CT equipment to ensure image quality and performance.
• Maintains equipment safety including daily Tube Warm Up and calibrations.
• Documents patient information and prepares images for radiologist review.
• Starts IVs, administers contrast, and monitors patient condition during CT procedures.
