Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to perform diagnostic procedures with attention to safety and accuracy. The role includes patient history intake, positioning, contrast administration under radiologist direction, and post-processing of images with precise labeling.

You will enter data into the radiology information system and support billing with accurate codes.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• Wisconsin radiographer license and ARRT registrations required.
• BLS certification within 6 months and CT registration within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic procedures across body regions.
• Obtain medical history and verify requisitions for exam accuracy.
• Position patients, optimize scanning factors and ensure radiation safety.
• Prepare/ administer contrast media under radiologist direction.
• Post-process images and label with patient and scan details.
• Enter patient data into RIS and document billing codes.
• Perform QA tests on equipment and report malfunctions.
• Meet age-specific care needs and maintain annual certifications.
